Hi I'm Louise!
I’m the owner, and creator of Bumblebee Beatz! I run my classes in Washington, Houghton-le-Spring and Roker.
I absolutely LOVE sharing my passion and enthusiasm for music with children and their grownups and pride myself in providing classes which are both fun and educational!
Music has been a passion of mine throughout my life. After I graduated from my Music and Education degree, I spent 14 years building my skills as a Music Education Specialist while teaching young children in an Infant School.
I have three gorgeous children, Layla, Emily, and Isaac. My youngest Isaac was two when I first started Bumblebee Beatz (the girls were both at school), and he thoroughly enjoyed attending my Family Bees classes with his Grandma until he started Nursery. It was amazing to watch the overall progress he made when attending my classes and to see his confidence develop so much was fantastic. Attending Bumblebee Beatz regularly definitely gave him a ‘head start’ when he started Nursery. All these years later he still talks about his time at Bumblebee Beatz and proudly tells people that he used to be one of my Bumblebees!
It gives me such great satisfaction, helping so many children reach their potential in so many areas of their development: it’s a real privilege to be part of their weekly routine. It’s safe to say I LOVE MY JOB!

What We Provide

With baby groups suitable for 8 weeks to toddlers, and toddler groups up to 4 years old, there’s something for every preschool child.

My baby groups are suitable for children from 8 weeks old up to toddling age. They engage, excite and soothe your little one.
family bees
For older children, my Family Bees toddler groups are upbeat and energetic – they’ll really bring out your child’s personality and develop their love of music and dance. Your smaller ones are welcome to join in those sessions too; I want everyone to feel included.

Each class is based on lots of Nursery Rhymes, fun and props galore. They’re planned and delivered by a very experienced Early Years Teacher and Music Education Specialist. So you can be sure your child is getting the very best experience.
